Do I need backend experience first?
Strongly recommended. DevOps is "ops for software" — knowing what you're deploying makes you a far better DevOps engineer than memorizing K8s manifests.
Will my CGPA matter?
Less than for SDE roles. DevOps hiring is more skills-based. Strong portfolio + cert > CGPA.
How is SRE different from DevOps?
SRE = DevOps + reliability engineering + on-call. Higher pay band. Our SRE track stacks on top of DevOps Bootcamp.
Is DevOps being replaced by Platform Engineering?
Platform Engineering is "DevOps that builds internal tools for devs". Same skills, different framing. Both growing.
